There are many important and valuable
models which facilitators use to promote high quality learning in
groups. Advanced facilitation requires a high level of intuition
to be able to track the many levels of individual, interpersonal
and group dynamics, as well as more subtle forms of group energy
which may lead to group insights and breakthrough. Because intuition
plays such an active role in the process of advanced facilitation,
it is essential that facilitators develop their intuition, respect
its voice and use it judiciously and compatibly with rational models
of group work.
