Dr. Therese Rowley Launches MultiSensory Intelligence™, A Framework for Understanding Human Perception Before Behavior
After five decades of research at the intersection of intuition, business, and human development, Dr. Rowley introduces the framework to the public.
CHICAGO, IL — Wednesday, April 22. Dr. Therese Rowley today announced the public launch of MultiSensory Intelligence™ (MSI), a perceptual framework that maps how individuals receive, process, and engage with information through five distinct channels. The framework arrives at a moment when traditional categories for explaining human difference, particularly in children, are reaching their limits.
MSI proposes a working definition: intuition is a moment of insight, and MultiSensory Intelligence™ is the perceptual system behind it. The framework identifies five core channels: HyperOptic, HyperAudient, HyperSensate, HyperNoetic, and HyperDimensional. Each person carries a unique signature across these channels. Understanding the signature reveals the architecture of perception that produces behavior.
“We have spent decades labeling children for what they cannot do inside systems that were not designed for how they perceive,” said Dr. Rowley. “MultiSensory Intelligence™ is the framework that makes the invisible legible. Once you can see how a person perceives, the question of what to do with their behavior becomes obvious.”
The framework emerged from Dr. Rowley’s work with clients across business, healthcare, education, and faith traditions over the course of her career. Applications include the Family Alignment Intensive, a four-week live cohort for parents of highly sensitive or intensely intelligent children; MSI Workshops, 90-minute introductory sessions; one-on-one MSI Readings; and forthcoming applications in C-suite leadership and education.
A research validation study with academic partners is in development. A practitioner certification pathway opens in late 2026.

Dr. Therese Rowley holds a Ph.D. in human development and has spent her career translating perceptual experience into frameworks usable in business, science, and family life.
