A New Conversation About Human Intelligence

Ladbroke Hall in hosts an evening exploring perception, neurodiversity, intuition, and the future of human potential

LONDON — What if the children who don't fit our current models of learning, behavior, and development are helping us discover a larger map of human intelligence?

Across homes, schools, and workplaces, growing numbers of children and adults are being described as neurodivergent, highly sensitive, intuitive, gifted, or difficult to categorize. Parents, educators, and leaders are often left with questions that labels and diagnoses alone do not answer.

MultiSensory Intelligence™ (MSI) explores a simple but profound possibility: that beneath many of the behaviors we label, diagnose, celebrate, or misunderstand are distinct ways of perceiving and making sense of the world.

Rather than beginning with behavior, MSI begins with perception.

On Tuesday, 7 July 2026, Ladbroke Hall, North Kensington, will host The Wonder Children and the Evolution of Human Intelligence, an evening in conversation between Dr. Therese Rowley, founder of The Wonder Children and creator of MultiSensory Intelligence™, and Margot Hennessy, a business leader whose expertise is in organisational and human behavior.

Drawing on more than three decades of work with children, families, leaders, and organizations, Dr. Rowley will share the observations that led to the development of MSI and the possibility that many of the qualities we call sensitivity, intuition, creativity, intensity, and neurodiversity may reflect forms of intelligence that have not yet been fully understood.

The conversation will explore how perception shapes learning, communication, relationships, decision-making, and human development—and what becomes possible when we seek to understand how a child perceives before evaluating how they perform.

Audience questions follow the conversation and informal discussion continuing afterward.

About Dr. Therese Rowley

For more than thirty years, Dr. Therese Rowley has worked at the intersection of leadership, transformation, intuition, and human development.

As a business advisor and consultant, she partnered with leaders to guide enterprise-wide transformation, aligning strategy, culture, and purpose. As an educator, she taught leadership and change management at universities across the U.S. and founded the Conscious Business Network in Chicago. As an intuitive practitioner, she conducted more than 14,000 readings and healings, helping individuals gain clarity about the patterns influencing their lives, relationships, and decisions.

Across these seemingly different worlds, one question continued to surface: Why did the behavior of so many highly sensitive, intuitive, creative, and intense children seem so misaligned with traditional academic and societal expectations?

That inquiry led to the development of MultiSensory Intelligence™ (MSI), an emerging framework that shifts the focus from behavior to perception as a foundation for understanding the expanded capacities of human intelligence. Today, Dr. Rowley is the founder of The Wonder Children and the MSI Discovery Labs initiative, advancing a new conversation about intelligence, neurodiversity, and the future of human development.
