Multisensory Intelligence: A New Framework for Understanding Perception in Neurodivergence

What if the things we've been taught to label as "too sensitive," "too intense," or "disordered" are actually signs of an intelligence we have yet to recognize?
Highly sensitive and intense children are often grouped under shared diagnoses such as ADHD, autism, anxiety, and sensory processing differences, yet their lived experience of perceiving and responding to the world varies enormously. Dr. Rowley's MultiSensory Intelligence™ (MSI) Framework identifies five distinct architectures of perception that help explain why individuals with similar diagnoses experience therapeutic touch, relationship, and intervention so differently, offering practitioners, researchers, and scientists a richer lens for clinical understanding.
Founded by Danny Sandra, the congress brings together an international community of craniosacral practitioners, researchers, and scientists under this year's theme: Cranio & the Six Senses: Scientific and Clinical Perspectives.

About Dr. Therese Rowley
For more than thirty years, Dr. Therese Rowley has worked at the intersection of leadership, transformation, intuition, and human development.
As a business advisor and consultant, she partnered with leaders to guide enterprise-wide transformation, aligning strategy, culture, and purpose. As an educator, she taught leadership and change management at universities across the U.S. and founded the Conscious Business Network in Chicago. As an intuitive practitioner, she conducted more than 14,000 readings and healings, helping individuals gain clarity about the patterns influencing their lives, relationships, and decisions.
Across these seemingly different worlds, one question continued to surface: Why did the behavior of so many highly sensitive, intuitive, creative, and intense children seem so misaligned with traditional academic and societal expectations?
That inquiry led to the development of MultiSensory Intelligence™ (MSI), an emerging framework that shifts the focus from behavior to perception as a foundation for understanding the expanded capacities of human intelligence. Today, Dr. Rowley is the founder of The Wonder Children and the MSI Discovery Labs initiative, advancing a new conversation about intelligence, neurodiversity, and the future of human development.
